That is wonderful news and not at a surprise. You are an amazing manager and lead and nature your staff to enable them to do such a great job. I have always felt so confident and happy sending my girls to you, thank you! It is great that you have the official recognition as well though.
This is brilliant news and feel it is an accurate reflection of the standard of the nursery, its staff and the work you all do. My children both love it there and I feel secure knowing they are safe and benefitting enormously from their experience at Summerfield. Long may the outstanding reputation continue.
Fantastic! (Well to be honest it wasn't going to be anything less!)
I just wanted to email how over the moon I was to read your email. It's so hard to get such a grading but when you practice nothing less than outstanding every day it couldn't be more deserved. You do such an amazing job and employ such amazing girls and keep hold of them through being a great manager you should most definitely give yourself a massive pat on the back! And the girls are pretty amazing too! Well done Kate.
Fantastic report Kate and thoroughly well deserved! It's been a privilege to be able to send both our girls to Summerfield House and I can never recommend you highly enough. You and the team should be very proud - well done!
Congratulations to you and the whole nursery team for the recognition for all your hard work.
That's really brilliant news. Well done to you and all your team. Hope you have fun celebrating together.
Fantastic Kate, very well deserved to you and all the team!
That's fantastic news Kate!! Huge well done to you and all your amazing staff, a thoroughly well deserved result and testament to all your hard work week in week out!
Our daughter started at Summerfield when she was 6 months old, she’s now nearly 2 years old. In this time she has had the same familiar faces around her and the same dedicated key carer allowing her to form excellent relationships with the staff. Leaving our daughter from such a young age was tough at first but she has definitely benefitted in her development, independence and self-confidence, as we have, knowing that she’s enjoying her time at Summerfield and being very well looked after and constantly stimulated. We have friends with children of a similar age also attending other nurseries, though none with such a constantly evolving and diverse range of activities, play… and a farmyard! We’re very happy to have chosen Summerfield to help us in our daughter’s development... we have started looking into student accommodation in Oxford and Cambridge!

The girls at Summerfield house have been truly selfless in their care for Abby over this past year. They’ve been instrumental in helping her through her ‘separation anxiety’ phase. As we have limited structure at home (Abby rarely knows which parent will be around in the morning, and which in the evening), Summerfield house has provided her with the structure she needs, and has taught her to be a social flower with all her newfound friends.
I must admit I had reservations about putting Abby into a nursery at such an early stage in her development (she joined Summerfield at 9 months), but now that she’s heading up into toddler ranks the benefits are becoming clear – she’s become such a well rounded and confident
little girl! And when she has off periods, the girls shower her with cuddles and comforting her through-out the day!
Thank you to all at Summerfield for your unending care and attention.

James started at Summerfield in April and has loved it from the day he started. I feel so relaxed and reassured leaving James in the care of the staff at Summerfield. They are always there to greet him at the door in the morning with a cuddle and breakfast and from then on it’s play play play. His confidence and development has increased so much and it was lovely when he came home the other day and the girls had taught him how to sign and say “please”.
James has been involved in all sorts of activities from painting and crayoning to playing in the sand or water (all invariably requiring a clothes change!)and music and story time too. They even held a mini Olympics and made canoes and oars out of cardboard boxes for the children to practice their rowing! The staff take some fantastic photos of the children participating in the activities which they display around the nursery for parents to see.
The menu is healthy and varied and James certainly munches up all the food he’s offered everyday; combined with a nice comfy sleep i am really excited to pick him in afternoon with the assurance that he’s been well cared for, well fed, played lots and slept well – what more can a parent ask for?!
